DEMURA Shihan Celebrates 40th Anniversary Get-together

 International Shitou-Ryu Karate-do Genbukai under a leadership of Master Fumio Demura celebrates its 40^th Anniversary Tournament on February 27. The Tournament opened with Japanese Taiko performance, followed by a demonstration of Battou Jitsu. More than 500 participants competed in both Kumite, spurring, and Kata.

Master Demura is one of the key Founding Masters of our Hokubei Karate-do Shihankai. Other masters such as Minobu Miki (Shitou), Masayuki Shimabukuro (Nippon Kobudo Jikishinkai), and our President Shoji Nishimura (Wado) were in attendance
