HOKUBEI KARATE-DO SHIHANKAI 2011 SCHEDULE of ACTIVITIES
HOKUBEI SHIHANKAI's 2011 activities for the Year 2011 were discussed on March 26, 2011 in an Executive Meeting chaired by President Shoji Nishimura. The following is our schedule of events for 2011:
April---Send some Hokubei Shihankai delegates to Ozawa Cup Tournament that is held in Las Vegas.
May---A DC Embassy Demonstration rehearsal in San Diego (MIKI Shihan's Dojo) and Spring Shihankai Training Get Together (Training under Gojyu Ryu Shihans, Sensei Hamabata and Kinjo)
June---Shihankai Demonstration at Japanese Embassy in the DC. It is our honor to be able to give Hokubei Shihankai giving our presentation of Traditional Japanese Karate-do in front of many foreign dignitaries in a Garden Party hosted by the Embassy.
August, October, Novenber---Hokubei Shihankai will run two or three Seminar/Training sessions exclusive to our members and separately for black belts of any styles or organizations. The locations will be in LA and CO (both are tentative).
We are developing a video on the SD seminar/training. This will become avaialbe to the members who attended at the event and also persons who are interested in purchasing it.
